to inform Leisure Lake that Jeff Stevenson has passed away today,
December 10th. In the short few years that I have come to know Jeff,
a finer man would be hard to find. His compassion and love for the
park will be missed. His friendship to me and many others impossible

We again come with sad news. Beverly Cory passed
away a couple of days ago in Florida. She follows
her husband Orlo D. Cory by a few weeks. I choose to
believe they are together again getting ready for a
heavenly bike ride. Prayers for peace to the family.
Another member has left us
CHARLES L. GUTHRIDGE
Charles L. Guthridge, 71, of Paris Township, Ohio passed on Sunday,
September 27. 2015 in Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio.
Charles was born in DuBois, Pennsylvania on August 6, 1944, the son
of Reuben and Mary Ball Guthridge. He obtained his formal education
in DuBois and graduated from DuBois High School in 1963.
In 1965, Charles enlisted into the United States Army with his
overseas duty served in Thailand as a heavy equipment mechanic. He
was honorably discharged on February 21, 1968.
Along with his family, Charles relocated to this area in 1972 to
obtain employment at the General Motors Assembly Plant in Lordstown.
He retired from his duties as a tow motor operator in 1996.
His favorite pastimes were woodworking, playing on the VFW horseshoe
league and spending time with his grandchildren.
Charles was an active member of VFW Post 3332 where he served as
canteen manager for ten years.
He was also a member of the American Legion Post 236 and the Amvets
Post 112. Charles was proud to be a member of the Newton Falls
Veterans Organization Honor Guard.
Memories of Charles will be carried on by his family, his children,
Missy (Alan) Holcknecht, Heather Guthridge, Charlie Guthridge and
Evelyn (Bobby) Lilly; his grandchildren, Kristofer, Karissa,
Savanna, Miranda, Hanna, Karlee, Colton, Katie-lyn and Miah; his
siblings, Don (Janet) Guthridge, Marian Cian, his twin sister, Velma
Clinton and Ron (Sue) Guthridge.
Charles was preceded by his parents, Reuben and Mary; his brothers,
Bob, Jim, and Joe and his sister, Marie.
Friends may call on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to
5:00 p.m. at the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls where a
military service will follow.
Arrangements for Charles were entrusted to the Borowski Memorial
Home in Newton Falls.

Another member has left us to be with his heavenly
father and is reunited with his wife Mary. R.I.P.
Wilbur your ready smile and dancing feet will be
missed. Thank you for all you did for me and my
children when we first came to the park. Lisa.
Wilbur A. Marshall, 81, of Randolph Ohio went home
to be with the Lord after a long and courageous
battle with cancer on Saturday, May, 16, 2015 with
his son, James and family by his side.
He was preceded in death by wife Mary; grandsons,
Logan and Coleman James Marshall; parents, Wilbur
and Opal (nee Martin); siblings, Ann, Ronnie, Joe
Wilbur is survived by his sons, James (Margaret) and
Jeffrey (Patricia); granddaughters, Monica, Jessica,
Jami, Angela, Shannon; 11 great grandchildren;
brothers, Keith (Joan) and Kenneth (Patsy);
sister-in-law, Beverly Marshall and numerous nieces
He served in the U.S Army and was employed with the
Ford Motor Company Walton Hills for 30 years.

friend, Kathy Connell for all her help during the

Leisure Lake family has passed away today. Rest in

park. Kenny Mays wife Neva passed away this evening. More
information when I talk further with Kenny. Lynn, security trustee
I just spoke with Kenny May regarding
arrangements for Neva. Calling hours are tues evening from 6-8pm at
Rossi Funeral Home on 30th street in Canton. Funeral Wed 10:00 am.
There will be a partial obit in Mondays Canton Repository and the
full one in Tuesdays paper.

Dear Leisure Lake Friends,
We wish to thank everyone for all their prayers. Jeff loved
Leisure Lake and all the people. All of you have been so kind. You
gave more than love and kindness.
For everyone who gave money. I can’t thank you enough. It will
be used towards Jeff’s medical bills.
We are all going to miss him. I’m proud of all he accomplished
for the park--so much in such a short time.
Thank you all for being there for me and for Jeff’s and my
family. You’re all a blessing to us.
Although it will be hard for me. As there is nothing he liked
more than camping at Leisure Lake and all of you. I look forward to
seeing all of you in the spring.

A long time member of the park past away Saturday the
4th. Patricia Biolota from lot#194. she was a very nice a caring
women and a friend. she will be deeply missed but not forgotten.

Sadly I have been informed that
Lisa Cox lost her courageous battle and has passed away this morning
(August 31, 2010). Now is the time to continue to show your support for the
family in the way you seem appropriate. Details will follow once

will be having a celabration of Life for Lisa on Friday evening from

Laurie Miller and Diane Wolf will
be having a Fundraising Benefit Dinner for Lisa Cox. Please save the
date and show your support by participating with showing up for
dinner. Just in the planning stages, I will up date the event with
menu and specific's after this weekend.
I am so proud to be a member of Leisure Lake....The
members of this park are AMAZING!! What a great benefit for the
Cox family.....over $5000 was raised Saturday. The meal (244 meals
sold) was delicious (thanks Laurie, Dianne and the crew) and the
auctions were unbelieveable! Special thanks to Randy for being the
emcee (he was fantastic, as usual) and for making the beautiful
memorial poster of Lisa. And thanks to everyone that helped with
planning the benefit. And thanks to everyone who donated. We
always seem to come together when it is needed. Thanks everyone!!!

as Sharon Phillips passed away today. Details for her services will
be posted when available. The LLMA Board of Directors is very
saddened to hear this news and the Phillips Family is on our
thoughts and prayers.
