Hello members - the membership meeting will be Sunday,
July 12, 2020 at 10am. If anyone has any comments,
concerns, or suggestions please send to the
email@example.com email address and we will put it
on the agenda. Due to the current situation, we would
like to expedite this meeting but we understand that we
have nominations and members concerns, so please bear
with us on everything going on. The current board
positions will be up for nomination and duties and
expectations are on flyer attached to this post.
We could use some volunteers for the upcoming weekend to
sit at the guard shack. If anyone would like to assist
with this, please see Dave Simons (lot #417). It would
be 2 hour intervals - checking in guests (filling out
form) - member comes to gate and will let guest in. The
schedule is pretty wide open, so let's do our part and
help. Thanks for your participation and help.
***PLEASE READ FLYER FOR DETAILS***
We have completed putting the tile around the POOL and
that means only one thing......……...…..It's time to open
it up!! We still have a few things to put in order per
the Portage County Health Dept, but the opening date for
the pool is planned for Friday, July 10, 2020 at noon.
Please see below for pool rules and restrictions and
check out the Ohio COVID-19 guidelines at the following
Hello members. The board would like to remind everyone that
we should still be practicing social distancing and that we
shouldn't have gatherings of more than 10. This isn't a park
rule, this is still the recommendations of the governor. We
would also like to remind members that ALL dogs should be
leashed and under your complete control. We are seeing a lot
of dogs running loose and this is too remind you that this
is a state law. Also, anyone with a pet needs to fill out
the required form that Portage County Health Department has
requested our park to have completed. The forms are
available at the office. You can pick one up during office
hours. Saturdays 10am-2pm and Sundays 10am-noon
A big Thank you to our fellow camper Darlene Buzash for the
donations she made. These items will be raffled off
throughout the summer to help raise money for activities!
Thank you again Darlene
We would like to remind our members that during this "stay
safe" order, we request that only immediate family members
visit the park. Per the order from our governor, the general
public is still not allowed in the park. In our Constitution
here is definition for immediate family and the rule in our
park. To continue to stay safe and avoid spread of the Covid
19, we must follow these rules and regulations. Thanks for
your understanding during this time and once again please
stay safe and healthy
The scrap bin (by the dumpsters) is empty and per The
Portage County Health Dept. requirement we were to remove it
as discussed in the July 14, 2019 meeting. Please don't
bring any scrap into the park and the member is responsible
to remove their own scrap and oversized items. Dumpsters are
to be used for TRASH only - Thank you for your help in this
matter from the BOD.
We are always looking for volunteers
Just a reminder to our members. We need to follow our Social Media policy when posting on Facebook,. Many members have concerns and those need to be brought to a Board Meeting so that your Board may address these issues. Having a New Board can take a little time to come up to speed and like everyone, we all have lives outside the park but without knowing what your concerns are we can not begin to address them. Thanks for your corporation in this matter.
Vice President, Gary Kratz
